HISTORY

HCC was established in 1974 by Eugene H. Hall and founded on the conviction that through hard work and diligence, partnership and trade commitment the company would vividly expand and grow to immense heights. Over the years HCC has served as either the construction manager, general contractor, or design/build manager for countless projects throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and surrounding areas. Serving as a commercial and industrial contracting company, the firm engages in projects ranging from elementary and secondary educational facilities, government structures, industrial corporate contracts, higher education, bank and commerce, and has participated in a vast amount of projects for the United States Military and Government.

The firm was founded upon three main core values – Integrity, Partnership, and Commitment. It is those values that are instilled within every employee, on every project, each and every day. The firm demonstrates Integrity by employing some of the most trained, knowledgeable, and experienced individuals within the construction industry to house, coordinate, manage, and develop all projects, both successfully and sufficiently. HCC demonstrates Commitment in that every project is treated with a condition of precedence. Whether through the standard general bid phasing process, construction management, or through a design/build approach, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, our commitment to sufficiency, and our commitment to provide unsurpassed services in all aspects of the project from commencement to cessation. Our demonstration of Partnership is ostensible throughout all projects. From the very beginning our project management team partners with the architects, engineers, subcontracting firms and client(s) to plan, phase and schedule the paramount corridor to success. It is through such partnership that HCC has stood the test of time and continues to strive with negotiated contracts, private invitational projects, and design/build packages.

We believe trust and teamwork are absolute priorities among any successful project, regardless of scale or stature. Therefore it is our priority, as a company, to develop all facets of the project through the most economical, environmental, satisfactory, and ethical means possible. HCC is a core-value based corporation. Since our establishment in 1974, presently, and in the future to come, we will continue to operate under not only our core values, but under the expectancy of excellence in trade and performance, the expectancy of precision and accuracy, and under the expectancy of quality.

Currently, John Barry Hall, Sr. serves as the company’s President and CEO, while William Garry Hall serves as Executive Vice President of Operations.
